About SpreadAtlas
SpreadAtlas shows how the price of the same coin differs between exchanges, and publishes an honest record of our own research into automated trading, including everything that failed.
Who runs it
SpreadAtlas is an independent, one-person research project based in South Korea. The site, the data pipeline and most of the research code were built with an AI assistant (Claude) working under the operator's direction. The operator makes every decision and checks every published number.
What we do and do not do
- We publish market data with its source and the time it was updated.
- We publish research results together with the methods, the costs we assumed and the failures.
- We do not sell trading signals, run paid groups or give individual buy or sell recommendations.
- We do not take payment from exchanges or token projects, and we do not use affiliate or referral links.
- If we ever discuss a coin that the operator holds, the article will say so.
History
The domain launched in September 2026 as a live order-book radar served from a home computer. In October 2026 we rebuilt it as a free, serverless site on Cloudflare and refocused it on price gaps, open research and simple tools. The full story is in the lab.
